EXTRA CHARGES

• Cargo delivery to airport - $25 / up to 50kg + $15 each subsequent incomplete load of 50kg

• (upon request) – 0,5 % of the cargo cost.

Alcohol-containing, gas-containing and flammable goods, such as aerosols, varnishes, gas shock absorbers, batteries, engines, etc., are considered dangerous goods for air transportation. Their shipment rates may exceed the indicated above. For rate calculation and shipment, you are requested to provide MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet).

To calculate the delivery price we should sum the cost of documents, other taxes and fees and the bulk weight rate as well as the tariff for cargo delivery to the airport. Delivery includes issuing the invoice, air waybill and other necessary documents, transportation to the airport and shipment to the destination airport. Customs clearance cost is calculated separately and is not included in the price.

THE EXAMPLE OF AIR FREIGHT COST CALCULATION

While calculating air freight cost, the airlines are always guided by the principle "the bigger load - the lower price per 1 kg", so the prices for the delivery of cargo weighing 100kg and 1000kg from the USA will differ significantly.

Taking as an example general cargo packed on a standard pallet, height 155 cm, total weight 550 kg, including pickup from the contractor in New York:

​

• Air Freight Chagres + Fuel & Security Surcharges on route JFK (NY) — airport SVO (Sheremetyevo, Moscow) $2.50/kg * 550 kg = $1375;

• Cargo pickup from New York and delivery to the airport JFK (NY) $175;

• Issuing air waybill (AWB) $95;

Door-to-door carriage from consignor to the beneficiary in Moscow total cost $1645;

Delivery within 3-5 calendar days.

CARGO AIR FREIGHT BY PASSENGER AIRLINES

The most efficient and fastest way of cargo transportation is the delivery on board a passenger aircraft. Today, the largest cargo traffic accounts for the USA airports, such as New York (JFK), Los Angeles (LAX), Chicago (ORD), Atlanta (ATL), Houston (IAH) and Miami (MIA). This mode of transport has certain requirements: the height of the cargo on the pallet must not exceed 67 inches (170 cm) and for the safety of passengers on board, the shipper must be certified by the TSA (Transport Security Administration).

AIR FREIGHT BY CARGO AIRLINES

If the shipper wasn't granted by the TSA the status of a "Known Shipper", or the cargo is not subject to shipment on board the passenger aircraft for technical reasons, the customer can take advantage of a cargo plane. Some airplanes have up to 200 tons load capacity. It is worth noting that the cost of such air freight exceeds the regular price by 30-40%, but in some cases it is the only affordable option.

• Cargo pickup from the consignor's warehouse on the day the customer submits an application for transportation;

• Cargo delivery to departure airport and loading on board the air vessel control;

• Booking the flight, issuing air waybill (AWB) and other export documents required;

• Cargo movement coordination under schedule with the option of customer online flight monitoring;

• Upon request – cargo turn-key customs clearance, certification and importer's services;

• Cargo release at the airport of arrival or at our warehouse in the city of receipt, or delivery to the beneficiary's warehouse;
